Subject	My Race with low 12 sec Z28 Sat night>>

Message	So I spent the day workin on my Z. I took off the hardpipes from the turbo's off and wraped them with exhaust wrap. I cleaned most of my conections like MAF (head of bolt broke on the center peice) , TPS, (lost metal fastner) Temp sensor(broke the plastic)getting really mad at this point. Cleaned inj connections. (nothing broke). Then pulled error code 33 :(. Painted harpipes. Ok, on for the night. On the way there got pulled over (slamming 2nd and spinning all the way till I hit 3rd) he was mad but he said that hes not going to give me a ticket cause he spinned his trying to catch me :) Ok, Sat night, we get to the race site. Bout 70+ people out there. We are letting our cars cool off. Some guys marked off a ¼ mile. Car load of people go to a side road near the end of the traps (off the road, not in the way) and one of my friends has the video cam on the finish line. He spins his new Nitto DR's and I didn't need to heat em up. No need. The start guy lines us up, runs to the side of the road, lifts on hand, lifts the other and drops them both. I left little early (about half drop)maybe ½ fender)If that. It felt like the race is over in 5 sec. So I am in forth gear with him about 3 or 4 cars BEHIND!! whoo!! I almost tacked out 4th waiting to find my friend on the side of the road with the video cam waiting for the finish line. waiting, waiting, almost taking out 4th!! Z wins! We get back to the spot and I walked up to him and asked if he wanted to run again cause I know I left maybe 200ths of a second before. He said naa its ok, you were pullin me the whole time. When he said that I was pullin him the whole time it made me feel good, I didin't think I would pull him the entire time! He is getting a custom NOS cam installed this weekend and then he wants to run. I said "no Problem, sounds good." So until next weekend for Chapter 2 of "The Race" My friend is putting the video clip on his site sometime this week. I will post it you so guys can see the race.
